The Aims of the Ken Colyer Trust
- To preserve and protect the memory of Ken Colyer.
- To promote continuance of New Orleans jazz in the principles and intentions of Ken Colyer so that his music is not lost to future generations.
- To encourage the publication and playing of recordings made by Ken Colyer.
- To inform young musicians about New Orleans Jazz and encourage them to play it.
- To accumulate archives of material relating to Ken Colyer. To hold such archives in keeping for future generations.
- To publish, promote and disseminate in a suitable manner such archive material.
- To engage in educational projects for spreading knowledge of New Orleans Jazz.
- To support all musicians whose prime interest is in New Orleans Jazz and to offer help to those in need..
