BEWARE. THERE IS A SMALL FAULT ON THE DVD. IT IS IN TWO VERSIONS, ENGLISH AND GERMAN WITH A GERMAN VOICEOVER ON THE INTERVIEWS. ON SOME DVD PLAYERS THE VOICEOVER STILL COMES THROUGH EVEN AFTER "ENGLISH" HAS BEEN SELECTED. THE PROBLEM IS EASY TO OVERCOME, SELECT "DISPLAY" (OR A SIMILAR MENU) AND FROM THE MENU THAT APPEARS CHANGE "DEU" OR "GERMAN" TO "ENGLISH". PINORREKK RECORDS HOT JAZZ MEETING 10 JANUARY 1981. This DVD contains two programmes made for German television, the first half and the second half respectively, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Old Merry Tale Jazz Band. Ken Colyer features in the first half with Monty Sunshine’s band on two tracks; Postman’s Lament and Just a Little While to Stay Here. Champion Jack Dupree joins Monty for one track, a superb boogie, Chicken Shack; Monty’s band also plays Little Liza Jane and joins with Old Merry Tale on Down by the Riverside.
